Acupuncture & Dry Needling

Western Medical Acupuncture incorporates the use of Chinese acupuncture and current knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and evidence-based medicine. Acupuncture is mainly used by physiotherapists with advanced training to treat acute muscle and joint pain. It can also help with post-operative pain and nausea.

Integrated Dry Needling is a specialized form of acupuncture used for the diagnosis and treatment of myofascial pain, and neuropathic pain. It is a technique much like acupuncture and without the injection of any substance.

Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)

The skilled hands of a registered massage therapist can manipulate both the superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various hands-on techniques.  Massage helps alleviate muscle tension, aid in the healing process, increase function, and relieve stress.

Custom Orthotics

Orthotics can help to alleviate various conditions of the foot, ankle, hip, knee and low back.  They can help relieve pain and improve your overall alignment.  At Trilogy we offer a variety of styles from two different manufacturers using the latest technology to ensure you get the best possible orthotic for your specific needs.

Shockwave Therapy

Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a form of therapy used to treat chronic conditions of the musculoskeletal system. It utilizes mechanical energy to stimulate a change in the tissues, and is a safe and effective therapy.

This treatment is commonly used for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and other tendon problems. It can also be used to stimulate stress-fracture healing, resolve chronic bursitis, and is commonly used to treat resistant conditions.
